Meridiana a Presence in Leading Real Estate Symposium

LEADING REAL ESTATE COMPANIES OF THE WORLD held their annual international symposium this year at Rome’s Calavieri Waldorf-Astoria, September 14-15th, conveniently scheduled back-to-back with the previous international meeting held at the same venue and attended by Leading RE’s European members who comprise the EREN network.
Leading RE is a global real estate network of 700 real estate firms with 5,000 brokerage offices located throughout the USA and 35 other countries. This world-wide organization’s members have an annual combined sales record that surpasses all other RE organizations and franchise groups, currently leading the USA in residential property sales above the One Million $ mark.

Speaking in Rome to the more than 100 members attending from around the world, Leading RE President/CEO Pam O’Connor stressed the great advantage of building cross-border relationships to meet the demands and opportunities of an increasingly global real estate market.

Another insight into the current international marketing picture was offered by Mr. José Ribes co-owner of the Valencia firm Rimontgó, who observed that “the best news is that brokerages don’t have to expand aggressively into new markets. By working with the right partners they can bring client and product together in ways that are both efficient and responsible”.

Meridiana was present at this meeting as the exclusive representative for Ibiza & Formentera for Leading RE.

Members of the European Real Estate Network - EREN, the pan-European network of the leading independent brokerage companies representing Europe's luxury residential property market, recently convened in Rome for the biannual EREN conference. The exchanging of information and observations regarding the residential property market revolved around members' current experiences in successful global marketing.

Sant Joan's Mayor, Antoni Marí Marí reminded the Consell, Govern Balear and the central government this week that Sant Joan has the highest ratio of green areas in the island with 85% of its land having some level of protection.
